Buena Vista International films and the Independent films we buy on exclusive
basis from Miramax, Focus Features, Strike Ent., Kimmel , Greenstreet Films,
Europa Corporation, TF1, Canal+, The Weinsteins and other
independent producers.
Italia Film is in a very strong condition to impose it's position and obtain
the best release terms in percentages and release dates in all of the Middle
East.
Italia Film was the 1st company to obtain a 60% share for any film ever
released in Egypt
and was the 1st company to release its films on a percentage basis in the Gulf
States, as up to that time the exhibitors were releasing films which they were
acquiring on a flat basis.
Italia Film never books or contracts any film for release in our territories
before we screen it to evaluate its potential, which is not done by our
competitors, as they need to be financed from the other territories to execute
their contracts with the producers or distributors
Our strong financial position and long experience in film distribution in the
Middle East has contributed to the success of the films we released.
